Patriot EGTS go through a 5 station quality control process where we test the heat up and cool down response time and the durability of the sensors.

 

•Noise Shielding

 

Patriot EGTS use shielded black type K thermocouple wire. This helps prevent electromagnetic interference and noisy data. The sensors have an internal ground for the shield drain wire which means no extra wire connections for you.

Patriot EGTS are very easy to install. No special calibration needed and sensors will work with any brand ECU or data logger. Designed to fit in 1/4” weld bungs. To maximize the benefits and speed of the Patriot EGTS close attention needs to be paid to the installation depth of the sensors.

Sensors need to be inline to the airflow of the exhaust and need to remain within 15° of the air flow direction. Once sensors have been run, it is important that they stay on the same side of the engine and the air flow hits the sensors from the same direction. The life span of the sensor will be dramatically shortened if subjected to airflow outside of these specifications.

Patriot EGTS have been tested across all types of racing engines. They have proven to give fast reliable data for well over 50 runs at over 3000hp. Lower horse power levels will see longer sensor life. Rich or lean conditions do not damage the sensors.
